This is our moment. We cannot turn back time.
But we can grow trees, green our cities, re-wild our gardens,
change our diets and clean up rivers and coasts.
We are the generation that can make peace with nature.

Climate change is one of the most significant and urgent issues facing businesses and society today. The science is clear, the impacts are serious, and action is essential.

This month sees the World Environment Day take place, and The MPS Team are happy to highlight what we do, and how we can help our customers protect the environment.

Businesses can reduce their Carbon Footprint to below zero using a combination of measures, including reduction and offsetting.

Reduction is achieved by increasing operating efficiency, such as assessing machinery and equipment performance, and moving to renewable energy.

Offsetting is investing in carbon offset projects, such as conservation and regeneration of forests. Take a look at our commitment and partnership with PrintReleaf below.
Offsets have co-benefits including further sustainable development, such as jobs for renewable energy, health benefits from fossil-fuel reduction and conservation of biodiversity from forestry and other projects.

Through our partnerships with HP and Xerox, and through global partnerships that are focused on strengthening natural systems, The MPS Team implement the design and delivery of products and solutions helping our customers make an impact. We do this with 4 key guidelines in mind :

Regenerate natural systems

Partnering to actively strengthen the natural systems that sustain life, with a focus protecting and restoring global forests.

Keep products and materials in use

Implementing products designed for long life, offering service-based solutions that improve customer value and decrease environmental impacts, and recapturing products and materials at end of service for repair, reuse, and recycling.

Use materials responsibly

Increasing materials efficiency, using more recycled content, and replacing materials of concern.

Create a low-carbon future

Improving product energy efficiency, to reduce customers’ energy consumption and decrease product use carbon and water footprints.

The benefits extend beyond a sustainable planet, your business will benefit too.
The MPS Team are can help you to achieve the following:

Increase revenue

By differentiating yourself in the market.

By providing climate leadership you encourage employees to create new products and services.

Reduce cost

By changing behaviour on high emission activities like energy use and printing.

Engage stakeholders

By motivating and retaining employees.

By demonstrating to investors that you are measuring, disclosing and managing climate risks.

Mitigate risks

Reduce the risk of possible future regulation that taxes carbon consumption.

What if your paper consumption could directly contribute
to reforestation projects around the world?

PrintReleaf Standard

Print and Plant with PrintReleaf.

In partnership with PrintReleaf, we’re delighted to offer you the opportunity to sustain and grow the global forest system…one print job at a time. Simply by measuring your paper consumption, your company’s every day printing can plant trees in Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Dominican Republic, The US, Madagascar and India.

Dale Needham, Group Director at The MPS Team says: “We are delighted to form a partnership with PrintReleaf, enabling all our customers to convert their paper footprint into actual trees. As they print, PrintReleaf replants trees in forests that need it most around the world. The process is automated, precise and verified by SGS International, making it easy for our customers to contribute towards environmental and ecological reforestation.”

PrintReleaf measures paper consumption through technology integrations with print monitoring software applications. It uses this data to plant the equivalent number of trees through a network of certified reforestation projects located around the world. Once trees are planted, PrintReleaf administers an 8-year audit process to track the progress and survivability of the trees.
